In addition to your timeline that includes action items that need to be accomplished before your big day, don’t underestimate the value of having a plan for the actual event. Event planners that must manage multiple moving parts (and parties and people) during the event always have a “run of show” by their side during the event.
The run of show includes all information they need – from the exact time cocktail hour will end and guests will be asked to be seated for the main event to when a VIP will be arriving on-site – including contact information of all parties involved (so you can act quickly if something doesn’t go as planned).
