I MASTERED IT!
I’m filled with so much emotion, as I reflect on Saturday.
I graduated with STRAIGHT A’s from the first-ever Master Program in Meeting and Event Management from San Diego State University. I was selected to deliver the commencement speech for our class. This was indeed an honor.
My parents taught us to succeed in life, align your education with your skills, goals, and dreams. When introduced to the program, those words began to resonate. I was on board when I learned we would be focusing on Business Strategy. That business strategy during this pandemic helped me reimagine my company in these uncertain times.
Even with it being virtual, the CELEBRATION WAS ON POINT! Surrounded by family and friends while I completed this incredible milestone made it that much better! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Daddy, I know you watched from heaven with that expression that we love. We missed you today!
I want to thank all of you that supported me in various ways.
If you know me well, you know graduation isn’t the end of a journey, and it is the beginning of a beautiful one. I already have a plan. Lol
